Following Me:
A LITTLE INFO ABOUT ME
I am a juried feltmaker and textile artist, selling wearable garments as well as custom-made and commissioned wall-hangings in the categories of felt, and handspun yarns. I continue to explore and educate myself as well as others in all textile and fiber categories such as hand spinning, tapestry weaving, and Alabama Chanin style sewing designs.

I am a juried member and artist of The Alabama Designer Craftsmen(ADC), and, a past juried member of Artists Incorporated. My awards include: BLUFF PARK ART SHOW, winner in category of FIBER. MERIT and PATRON award in FIBER at the KENTUCK FESTIVAL. AWARD winner at The Leeds Folk Festival and Award winner at Arts and Music on The Green at Ross Bridge. My textiles have been exhibited and sold at THE BIRMINGHAM MUSEUM OF ART.

My art has been shown and sold at the Coastal Arts Center in Orange Beach, Alabama, The Bluff Park Art Show,Kentuck Festival, Birmingham Museum of Art Store, The Magic City Art Connection, Alabama Designer Craftsmen Show at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, Leeds Folk Festival, Arts and Music on The Green at Ross Bridge, Georgine Clark Exhibit Center at Kentuck, Artist Incorporated, Blue Light Art Show at Cahaba Clayworks in Leeds, Alabama.


I have been the past ALABAMA State Representative for Handweavers Guild America(HGA)www.weavespindye.org., juried member of Alabama Designer Craftsmen(ADC)and, member and officer(s) in The Greater Birmingham Fiber Guild(greaterbirminghamfiberguild.blogspot.com).
